Crawling!

It's official, this boy is on the move! Now, this is what we see most of the time --

Almost the same day he started crawling, he started pulling up. So we see a lot of this too:

I worry (because that's what I do!) about him bumping that big ol' head on the tile because he still isn't too sturdy, but he is determined to be all over this house and not stay in one place. So, we just follow him around and dust him off when he stumbles. I already find myself saying, "You're ok - you're a boy!" With Camryn, I had to try really hard not to gasp and rush to her. I guess it's about time I use one of Dad's favorite lines on her now, "You're a sissy if you cry!"

Happy July 4th!

We had a great 4th of July - enjoyed the long holiday weekend and good weather (although, it has been a very hot summer). We spent time outside in the pool and took a trip to Alvin to see Grandma Lo and Aunt Pokey early in the day on the 4th.

There was a 4th of July Parade at the kids' school on the Friday before the holiday weekend. Here is a great picture of Camryn that Ms. Amy took - I love it! - she seems to really be loving that snow cone!

Sweet (and scary) Commercial

Every time this Subaru commercial comes on, Kevin and I look at each other like, oh no… that’s going to be us before we know it. The last two and half years have just flown by and since we only seem to be busier every day, how fast will the next ones go by? I’m not sure if it’s the little girl’s unruly hair or the way she tilts her head to look at her Daddy, but oh my does she remind me of Camryn. I guess it could be just that it clearly demonstrates how we’ll always see her – as our little girl. Even when we’re watching her drive out of the driveway…

New Video...

A few weeks ago (maybe a few months ago, time flies by in our house!) Kevin showed me a video that he had made right after Cody was born. That night I had to watch it over and over again - it is so sweet. I finally have it in a format that I could upload on the blog... I wanted it to be chronological, so it is with October 2010, but I didn't want everyone to miss it, so please - check out how beautiful and sweet he was when he was only a few minutes old here!

Yoga Baby

Downward Dog!

Grandma Linda has talked about yoga with Camryn for a long time and I (try) to go to my yoga class two times a week (LOVE IT!). So, I guess it's no wonder that Camryn loves to do yoga poses. This picture is from January, so her form has actually improved significantly since then! She recently found a yoga book that Mom gave me that has pictures of each posture and she likes to sit on the living room rug and go through a book page by page and mimic the postures. She will do this all by herself, although she does enjoy community yoga the best.
