We celebrated Kevin's birthday this weekend by taking Camryn to the Houston Zoo for the first time... she really enjoyed it! Kevin and I both had not been to the zoo in several years - so it was fun for the whole family.

Uh-oh... yawning on the way to the zoo. Not a good sign! And of course, as soon as we arrived, there was just too much to look at! She did take about a 45 minute nap while we were there.
Monkey See Monkey Do. Daddy and Camryn having fun. This was right after we watched the elephants have their daily bath - my favorite!
Petting the goats at the Children's Zoo. This was really a hoot - seeing all sorts of goats just laying around while little girls brushed them. So funny! CC was a little hesitant at first... but then she warmed up to the goats.
(Almost as exciting as our trip to the zoo was that Camryn wore her little canvas tennis shoes for the whole trip and didn't fuss! We are slowly working up to wearing shoes more often. This is a must because she is so close to walking for real!)
