Baby Boy 4D Ultrasound

We had a 4D ultrasound on Thursday. Our little baby boy was not very cooperative (he sat folded in half, snuggled with his hands and feet by his head the entire time, while he pulled the umbilical cord up to his face), but it was so fun to watch him in there for 30 minutes. He is typically not very active at 3 pm, so now I know exactly what he's doing (maybe I should have scheduled the appointment for 5 am - that seems to be his time!). The ultrasound tech tried to 'encourage' him to move several times (besides poking my stomach and rolling to my side, she even had me eat chocolate!), with not much success. He was very comfy. I think she felt a little bad about it - but we thought it was a great appointment.

Here are a few pictures - remember, they are a little freaky to look at because there is all sorts of stuff that they 'cut through' to see the baby:

So, it looks he might have chubby little cheeks like his big sister (look at that first picture!). The whole time we were watching him on the screen, we both kept saying how much he reminded us of Camryn. So, of course, we immediately compared the pictures to her 4D ultrasound that we had (in August of 2008):

What do you think? Looking at the pictures, not sure if you'll be able to see it too. His face definitely looks wider - but maybe they have the same nose and lips? I guess we'll know for sure in about 11 weeks!

We left the appointment with 50 pictures and a DVD that recorded the entire session. So now we can sit and watch him move all over again... very cool.
